One of the most beautiful creeks in Patagonia, holding unbelievable large size browns and rainbows with some brook trout for this small spring creek, demanding all sight fishing due to its flat and crystal clear waters. This spring creek flows for 10 miles ending on the upper section of the Quillén River. The average size of rainbows is 19 in., that of browns 22 in. This spring creek is reached from the town of Aluminé for a day’s wading although there are times when it is required to reach unchartered sections on horseback.
Southern Cross’s Record: Carlos Rocchi: 25 in. rainbow caught with #8 Sparkle Woolly Bugger.
